Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at this hotel near the Belize border. The setting is beautiful and feels safe, with a lovely garden and a swimming pool facing the lagoon. However, the room we stayed in had some issues with cleanliness and comfort that made the stay less enjoyable. Overall, it's a decent budget option, but there are definitely areas that could use improvement.
I was really disappointed with my stay this time. The noise from families using the pool went on until almost midnight, and despite talking to staff, it didn't get resolved. On the bright side, the hotel is in a nice area, but the experience was definitely soured by the disturbances during the night.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The location near the Belize border is lovely and felt secure with the presence of cameras. The garden and lagoon views are beautiful, but I encountered cleanliness issues and an uncomfortable room. While the staff were kind and helpful, the overall conditions left much to be desired.
My experience at Hotel Lagoon was quite mixed. While the ambiance was beautiful and the place felt clean, I had serious concerns about the room conditions and the noise coming from the pool area. The location is serene but not near amenities. Ultimately, it’s a decent spot if you value a charming oasis, but be sure to manage expectations regarding the facilities and noise levels.
I stayed at a lovely hotel that felt like a beautiful oasis during my travels, with a charming and clean environment. The lagoon views and comfy rooms stood out, creating a perfect escape. However, my stay was marred by noise from a family using the pool late into the night, which disrupted our peace.
